A random cool dude, who it seems was there in back in the day, on the scene etc. (late eighties, early nineties americas) gave Kevin a bundle of old zines, magazines and books. Old Forced Exposures, Your Flesh, flipside, Roller Derby etc. there are Dan Clowes illustrations, early Kurt album synopsis', A million Mudhoney articles of course, but all kinds of off-the-wall and supremely interesting shit. Unconstrained. And this, let's all cook with Fugazi:

can't see the pictures!!! I once heard Clare Grogan on the radio say 'Fugazi? who are they? sounds like a type of pasta'
